Authors work directly with the editors, allowing for highly competitive pricing.  Send your document to info@planteditors.com for a free price quote. Pricing depends on the length of the document and the amount of editing required, but generally ranges between 300 and 500 USD for scientific manuscripts. Turnaround time is five days. An expedited service is also available.

Plant Biologist Editors

Kathleen L. Farquharson holds a PhD in Plant Biology from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, and an MSc in Genetics from the University of Stellenbosch, South Africa. She lectured at the University of Northern Colorado, where she presented courses in Biology and Scientific Writing. Dr. Farquharson works as a Science Editor for The Plant Cell and is based in Seattle. Her specialties include plant cellular and molecular biology, tip growth, the cytoskeleton, ion dynamics, and imaging techniques.

Nancy R. Hofmann holds a PhD in Plant Biology from the University of California at Davis and a BA in Biology from Swarthmore College, where she served as a peer writing tutor.  Dr. Hofmann currently works as a Science Editor for The Plant Cell and resides in New Mexico. Her areas of expertise include biochemistry, molecular biology, protein targeting, and organelle biology. 

Jennifer Mach holds a PhD in Biology from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and currently works as a Science Editor for The Plant Cell, and as a part-time Senior Scientist at a plant biotechnology company specializing in crop improvement and biofuels. Her areas of expertise include plant cell death and disease resistance, chromosome dynamics, and biofuels.
